Artistic Style & Philosophy

Sue’s art is vibrant and whimsical, deeply inspired by the everyday—families, childhood memories, and tender domestic scenes. She integrates words, humor, and collage-inspired painterly surfaces, using recurring motifs such as vintage dresses, childhood toys, and house forms to ground her art in personal and intimate symbolism

Personal Touch

Beyond her artistic practice, Sue wears many meaningful hats—mother, educator, and artist. She delights in the everyday: wandering about in paint-splattered clothes with an iced coffee in hand, while her two adult children bring laughter and light to her life. She resides in a charming beach bungalow in costa rica, across the street from the beach.

Empowerment

Sue loves sharing her journey through art and storytelling, connecting with women who are seeking inspiration and empowerment. Her passion is to encourage others to embrace their creativity, discover their strength, and live their best, most authentic lives.
